South Haven Area Emergency Services firefighters, along with crews from the Ganges and Lee township departments, responded to a barn fire in Allegan County overnight.
SHAES officials say the blaze on 109th Avenue near 61st Street was first reported around 7:10 p.m. Thursday. Firefighters remained on scene for about two hours.
Crews returned at 3:20 a.m. Friday after the fire rekindled. Officials said heavy clutter in the upper level of the structure made conditions too dangerous for an interior attack.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
