NY1’s "Finding Home" segment features animals up for adoption around the five boroughs.

This week, we'd like to introduce King, a loving 8-year-old pup who is excited to show off his Halloween costume.

King is easygoing, good on a leash and follows basic "sit" and "paw" commands. He's also good around other dogs, cats and children.

We also have Mimi, with her big pink bow. She is a gentle 6-year-old cat with a sweet temperament.

Mimi is known for her soft headbutts and calm demeanor.
