GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - A man accused of shooting and killing a woman during a home invasion robbery in Gainesville in 2022 was sentenced to prison.
Officers say Alderious White was sentenced to 50 years in prison for his role in a deadly home invasion robbery on Northeast 16th Terrace in July 2022 that claimed the life of Dhalani Armstrong.
According to the arrest report for Tiara Luckie , she drove two armed men, Alderious White and Jason Ward , to the home of Dovico Miles.
They entered the home and shot Armstrong, killing her. A resident inside the home returned fire, striking both men. They ran from the home and were later arrested.
Ward negotiated a plea deal in 2023 and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. In December 2022, Luckie pleaded no contest to the charges agai
