According to CBP officials, the seizures took place on Sept. 26 and Sept. 29, resulting in the discovery of a combined 408 packages of meth, worth more than $482,000.

First seizure

On Sept. 26, officers encountered a traveler applying for entry into the U.S. With the help of a CBP canine team, officers conducted a vehicle inspection and discovered 219 packages of meth hidden inside the car’s door panels, rear seats, gas tank, trunk, and spare tire. T
