SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Over a million Bay State families could face losing food stamps within days as he U.S. Department of Agriculture has warned state agencies there won’t be enough funding to pay full SNAP benefits next month

On Friday, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey expressed her frustration, knowing hundreds of thousands of people who need these food stamps could be at-risk of losing them. The governor blamed President Donald Trump for this and said he has chosen to stop all SNAP benefits to Americans starting next week.
