LYON COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) - Lyon County Commissioners have selected Blayne Osborn to potentially fill an Assembly seat vacated recently by Ken Gray.

Osborn previously ran for Assembly District 39 in 2022 but lost in the primaries.

He is currently the President of the Nevada Rural Hospital Partners and has been involved in every legislative session since 2009,

Osborn will be considered for final appointment at a joint meeting of the Lyon County and Douglas County Commissioners on Nov. 6.

The appointment is needed since Governor Joe Lombardo announced he plans to call a Special Session of the Legislature.
