ORLANDO, Fla. – Former Orlando commissioner Regina Hill was in court Friday as her attorneys updated a judge on the status of her case.
During the hearing, the defense requested that the judge issue an order to obtain medical records from a witness and asked to schedule another status hearing for January.
Attorney Fritz Scheller spoke outside the courtroom, where he said he felt confident in Hill’s case.
“I think the evidence that’s been coming out so far is going to vindicate Ms. Hill,” Scheller said. “In the witnesses I’ve interviewed and the evidence I’ve seen, she’s been an extraordinary member of her community.
