The Sault Surge aquatic team will make a splash at home this weekend as they host the first North Eastern Ontario Region (NEOR) swim meet of the 2025-26 season at the John Rhodes pool, Oct. 25-26.

Nearly 200 athletes from across the region — representing clubs from Sudbury, North Bay, Kapuskasing, Hearst, Timmins, Sturgeon Falls, Kirkland Lake, and Temiskaming Shores — will compete alongside 87 swimmers from the Sault Surge.

For many, this meet marks the first chance of the season to test their training, set personal best times, and achieve qualifying standards for upcoming regional and provincial championships.
