BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) - Three Bettendorf parks are getting a facelift.
The City of Bettendorf shared the final designs and tentative timelines for the three park renovation projects.
Lincoln Park - 951 27th Street
The city said Lincoln Park features a splash pad and new bathroom.
At a community input event it was decided that the park needed a bigger, modern playground, the city said.
Bettendorf City Council approved the purchase of a $155,794 state-of-the-art playground system to replace the about 25-year-old existing playground at Lincoln Park.
The renovation of the park began on Oct. 20, officials said. The new playground will be installed on Nov. 10 and finished on Nov. 21.
Friendship Park - 5033 White Post Road
The city said Friendship Park features a shelter, sand volleybal
