BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- The Ruby Slipper Café, known for bringing a taste of New Orleans to breakfast, brunch, and lunch, is celebrating the cozy flavors of fall with a brand-new seasonal menu.

"Ruby Slipper was founded in 2008 after Katrina. As you may know, a lot of places didn't open back up after Katrina...our founders were like 'Hey, let's put together a little spot where you can have a small breakfast, something to drink,'" said Regional Director of Operations Lakeisha Britten.

The limited-time menu, crafted under the direction of Chef Marla Chu, the brand’s culinary director, features both indulgent and lighter options.
