CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) -- The warm colors of autumn continue to spread throughout the region, and the West Virginia Department of Tourism has some ideas in mind for those wishing to take in the natural beauty of the Mountain State.

According to a press release, even though the season has not gone as originally predicted, the oak trees within the state have started their colorful transformation that will continue over the coming weeks.
