The Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents has approved a new four-year contract for OSU Athletic Director Chad Weiberg, reaffirming the university’s commitment to his leadership during one of the most pivotal moments in program history a stretch that now includes the search for the Cowboys’ next head football coach following the departure of Mike Gundy.

Weiberg, who has led OSU Athletics since 2021, will continue earning an annual salary of $750,000 through December 31, 2029, with incentives tied to both financial benchmarks and athletic performance across all sports. The extension was approved Friday during the Board’s meeting in Warner.
