Hayley Williams, Role Model Lead Rolling Stone Musicians on Musicians

Paramore’s Hayley Williams, Jack Antonoff, María Zardoya of the Marías and Role Model headlined Rolling Stone’s third annual Musicians on Musicians live event at New York’s Beacon Theatre. The 2025 edition brought together two pairings — Antonoff with Williams and Role Model with Zardoya — for an evening of discussion and live performances, hosted and moderated by “Saturday Night Live” star James Austin Johnson, who started off the evening joking about his Trump impressions and the “ballroom” that the Beacon would become under a future administration.

Role Model and Zardoya talked about viral success, the unpredictability of hit songs and how both acts have evolved from “bedroom pop” to headlining major venues. Zardoya called the band’s breakthrough song “No One Noticed” an “anti-hit”
