A 48-year-old Bethlehem man was found dead inside a vehicle on the 200 block of Ridge Street in Emmaus, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office announced on Friday, Oct. 24.

Joseph S. Dixon, 48, was pronounced deceased at the scene at 4:11 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, in Emmaus, according to the release. 

An autopsy was completed at the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensics Center in Allentown, with the cause and manner of death pending further investigation and toxicology testing, officials said.

 Investigators include the Emmaus Police Department and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, and there are no suspicious circumstances at this time, authorities added.
