The Central unit of Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD), along with other medical organisations, will sport black ribbons while discharging their duties on Saturday to demand justice for the Satara-based doctor who allegedly died by suicide.

“If prompt action — including arrest of the accused and transfer of investigation to CID — is not taken immediately, Central MARD will be compelled to intensify its agitation, including statewide protests and non-cooperation movements,”Dr Sachin Patil, president of Central unit of MARD told The Indian Express .
