NASHVILLE — Rising actress Isabelle Tate, who made her debut on the new series 9‑1‑1: Nashville, died this week at 23, People reported .

The cause was a rare form of Charcot‑Marie‑Tooth disease, a progressive neuromuscular disorder that affects peripheral nerves and muscles, according to Entertainment Weekly .

According to her obituary, Tate is remembered as a vibrant, determined young woman who lived with passion and purpose despite physical challenges.

She was an aspiring actress and musician and devoted much of her time to volunteering, especially with animals, and was known for her warmth, creativity and optimism, her obit said.

“Isabelle was full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others,” the obit also said.
