LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – One of the men charged in connection with the case of two missing Lexington teenagers appeared in court Friday.

Court records show 47-year-old Jesus Reyes-Rodriguez was arraigned on a charge of tampering with physical evidence. He waived formal arraignment and entered a plea of not guilty. Reyes-Rodriguez, who is not currently in custody, is scheduled to return to court on December 12 at 1 p.m.

As previously reported, a Fayette County grand jury indicted Reyes-Rodriguez and 18-year-old Jesus Reyes-Ocampo in September. Reyes-Ocampo faces two counts of murder and one count of evidence tampering
