At 11:55 a.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service released a freeze warning valid for Saturday between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Franklin, Cumberland, Adams and York counties.
The weather service says, "Sub-freezing temperatures expected."
"Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing," explains the weather service. "Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive vegetation. Valley locations and sheltered rural areas will experience the coldest temperatures."
