LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Firefighters rescued a driver and their two dogs Friday morning after a crash trapped them in a vehicle along a tree line in Tennessee.

The La Vergne Fire Department found the crashed vehicle after responding to a reported single-vehicle crash on Blair Road near Waldron Road.

Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.

The driver and their two dogs were trapped inside, so crews worked quickly to extract them from the vehicle.

“The driver appeared to have minor injuries and was transported for non-emergency medical treatment,” the city said. “Both dogs were uninjured and comforted by firefighters until La Vergne Police Department officers transported the pets home at the owner’s request.”
