The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory at 1:49 p.m. on Friday valid from 11 p.m. until Saturday 9 a.m. for Putnam County.
The weather service says to prepare for, "Temperatures as low as 36 degrees will result in frost formation."
"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," describes the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
