During the 8th Assembly of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) in New Delhi from October 27 to 30, delegates from all 124 member countries are expected to visit South Asia's first distribution storage site in India's national capital.
The ISA will launch the Africa Solar Facility, a $200 million programme focusing on distributed renewable energy and serving as its first financial product for risk mitigation. ISA Director General Ashish Khanna also indicated plans to launch the first phase of a global capability centre and an ISA Academy to democratise education on solar energy.
