Tess Daly spilled the beans on whether hubby Vernon Kay would ever do Strictly Come Dancing before her bombshell departure from the show. ‌

Thursday (23 October) brought the shock announcement that Tess, 56, who's been at the helm of Strictly since it launched in 2004, alongside co-host Claudia Winkleman, 53, who joined forces with Tess in 2014, were both bidding farewell to the beloved BBC One programme. ‌

The BBC released a statement declaring: "After many magnificent years in the ballroom, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman have confirmed they are saying goodbye to Strictly Come Dancing. ‌
