The Toronto Blue Jays will have a different look for Game 1 of the World Series than we have seen so far in the playoffs.
The Blue Jays released their 26-man roster on Friday morning , which included both Bo Bichette and Ty France. They have replaced Joey Loperfido and Yariel Rodriguez, who were both a part of the ALCS roster.
There was plenty of optimism that Bichette would join the roster, and Blue Jays fans got their wish. The 27-year-old hasn’t played since suffering a knee injury versus the New York Yankees in early September, but has been spotted running bases in the days leading up to the World Series.
