The 2025 World Series gets underway Friday in Toronto, where the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers with their lights-out pitching and a guy named Shohei take on the American League champs Toronto Blue Jays in their first Fall Classic appearance since winning back-to-back titles in 1992-1993.
Fox has U.S. broadcast rights to the best-of-7 series, with live coverage of all games to begin at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with the first pitch for all games set for 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The lead team of Joe Davis and Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz will call the games for Fox, with sideline reporters Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci also pitching in and Tom Rinaldi on features duty. (Side note: Lead producer Pete Macheska is running his final World Series broadcast from the Fox production tru
