SPOKANE, Wash. — Eastern Washington University is hosting a "Racial Restrictive Property Covenants" workshop for homeowners on Saturday.

The workshop aims to share information with homeowners and homebuyers about how to file a "Racial Covenant Amendment" form with their county auditor’s office if the lease to their property includes a clause restricting all “non-Caucasians” from living in it.

Members from EWU's team, along with a notary public and Spokane County Auditor Vicky Dalton, will be on hand to assist with the process of filing an amendment. The workshop will take place at the North Spokane Library from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.
