LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Four Kentuckians were honored Thursday for saving the life of a state trooper after a shooting in July 2025.
Jimmy Alexander, Jessica Alexander, Taylor Hall and Ofc. Adam Arnold each received the Citation of Meritorious Achievement for their quick actions after KSP Trooper Jude Remilien was shot.
KSP Trooper Jude Remilien was shot in the leg outside the Blue Grass Airport while attempting to conduct a traffic stop on July 13, 2025 , according to dash camera footage.
The suspected shooter, 47-year-old Guy House, got in the front seat and drove away after another person got out of the truck, dash camera footage shows. KSP confirmed the person who got out of the truck was not directly involved in the shooting.
