Brockville Police are investigating a robbery that took place at the downtown Shoppers Drug Mart.

At about 4 a.m. on Wednesday, the store’s alarm was activated and police responded to the call at the business located on King Street West.

Police say four people gained entry to the store by smashing a window, then proceeding to the cosmetics section, where they broke into a glass cabinet to access high-value fragrances, which police say is consistent with previous incidents at the downtown Shoppers.
