SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schenectady County District Attorney's Office announced that 53-year-old Willie Arrington III was convicted by a county jury on Thursday of predatory sexual assault against a child, a class A-II felony. The Schenectady man faces a minimum of 10 years to life in state prison.
Arrington was found guilty of sexually abusing a child he was familiar with numerous times between 2018 and 2021 at a home in Schenectady they both resided in. The victim, now 16 years old, testified under oath that she was nine years old when the assaults began, and that throughout the two and a half year span, Arrington committed around 50 separate instances of sexual assault against her.
