HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Early voting for the November General Election gets underway on Saturday, October 26. Three candidates are vying for the office of mayor.

One of them is the current Mayor Kamal Johnson. He lost in the June primary against fellow democrat Joseph Ferris, but decided to run in November on the Working Families party line.

Johnson, who first won the mayor's seat in 2019, says his loss in June reinvigorated his campaign. He says his top priority continues to be affordable housing.
