SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Siloam Springs daycare employee was arrested last week for allegedly causing visible injuries while disciplining a child, marking the center’s second arrest since Oct. 15.

Dayse Noemi Castro, 22, was taken into custody on Oct. 22, and charged with second-degree battery, a class D felony, which is generally punishable by up to six years in prison and fines up to $10,000.

Castro is one of two daycare employees arrested on child abuse-related charges from separate incidents earlier in October.
