BENTONVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Travelers at Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) will notice a new traffic setup.
The airport opened new drop-off lanes on Oct. 22 as part of its $34 million terminal modernization project.
The new layout moves pickup and drop-off areas to the center of the termina in order to help reduce congestion during ongoing construction.
"It's no secret that throughout the years and 2025 is no exception," Olivia Tyler, Public Affairs Manager said. "[We want to] make sure that the terminal modifications [are] completed, especially as we continue to grow at an exponential rate."
Additions accompanying the new drop off areas include a renovated entrance, a canopy and new elevators and escalators.
