Howard Langer, a winner of the National Jewish Book Award, will visit Park Synagogue at 27500 Shaker Blvd. in Pepper Pike at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 to speak about his new book, “The Last Dekrepitzer.”
“A Conversation with Howard Langer” will feature Langer being interviewed by Dr. Regennia Williams, a distinguished scholar of African American history and culture at the Western Reserve Historical Society. The event is open to both Park congregants and the general public. A dessert reception along with klezmer music and a book signing will follow the talk.
Copies of the book can be purchased from Loganberry Books at 13015 Larchmere Blvd. in Shaker Heights, or can be borrowed from the Park Synagogue library or any local public library branch.
