The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has updated a recent recall for a brand of makeup wipes due to bacteria contamination.

On Sept. 19, the FDA began a recall for Neutrogena makeup remover wipes after an internal investigation “discovered that the product test positive for pluralibacter gergoviae.”

The recall has since been updated to give it a “Class II” status, which is the second highest level the organization gives out.

According to the FDA’s website , a Class II recall involves “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

The specific recalled product are the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Ultra-Soft Cleansing Towel
