OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Kyle Singler was arrested in Whitefield, Oklahoma, on Thursday after allegedly threatening to rape his girlfriend and attempting to get to her toddler, while appearing to be on drugs.
Singler, a former NBA player for the Oklahoma City Thunder, was taken to the Haskell County jail.
The arresting officer reported that Singler appeared to be on drugs and that the victim had finger outlines on her face and bruising on her arms.
The former Duke superstar played for the Thunder as a forward for three years.
Singler officially retired from basketball in 2019 and had previously sparked concerns after posting shirtless photos on Instagram, saying he "fears for his life every day."
