WASHINGTON — Chick-fil-A is launching its first-ever vending machine as part of a short-term test.
The vending machine, which is a temperature-controlled market fridge, is currently available only at the Children's Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. It will operate 24 hours a day, but will be shut down on Sunday - just like Chick-fil-A stores, according to a company spokesperson.
Chick-fil-A confirmed in a statement that the vending machine offers grab-and-go items such as the Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap, the Southwest Veggie Wrap and two flavors of Waffle Potato Chips.
A spokesperson for the Atlanta-based chicken chain said that the vending machine "seeks to provide a convenient option for hospital employees and visitors on the go."
