A former bikie who survived an assassination attempt that killed his brother has been taken into custody after warrants for his arrest were issued across two states.

Tarek Zahed — dubbed the "Balenciaga Bikie" — was arrested at a property in Dundas Valley with the help of the Raptor Squad on Friday night, NSW Police said.

At the property, officers searched a car and allegedly found $12,800 in cash, which was seized for further inquiries.

Zahed was taken to Gladesville Police Station.

He has since been transferred into the custody of the Department of Corrective Services NSW.

The 45-year-old was wanted since the end of last month on an outstanding revocation of parole warrant which was issued in NSW and Victoria.
