EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- An Indiana woman diagnosed with emphysema is finding a sliver of hope from an Evansville doctor.
Juanita McFadden was diagnosed in 2010 and since then she says she's had a poor quality of life. She thought she had exhausted all of her medical options. That was until she met Evansville Pulmonologist Doctor Roger Johnson.
“I was just giving up because there was nothing else I can do,” McFadden said. “There was no help for me except for adjusting the oxygen which was not relieving it. That was not helping.”
Juanita McFadden has been battling emphysema, a chronic lung disease for more than a decade and year after year she says she was beginning to lose hope.
