SKOWHEGAN, Maine - A 16-year-old from Oakland, who had been reported missing, was found safe Thursday after a police chase in Skowhegan.

Police say they tried to stop TJ Wing Jr., 20, of Norridgewock, on Thursday because of an issue with his license plate. Police say they later learned he also did not have a license.

Police say Wing led them on a chase, eventually ending up on Martin Stream Road in Norridgewock, which is where officers from the Fairfield Police Department were able to pop the tires of his Cadillac DeVille.

When officers approached the vehicle, they say they found the missing teen from Oakland in the passenger seat.
