PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District's Kennedy Middle School Boys Athletics were awarded more than $8,000 from the JJ Watt Foundation.
The award ceremony was held on Friday at the Kennedy Middle School, where they announced that the $8,215.27 award will be used to purchase new baseball and basketball uniforms.
The foundation, led by NFL player Justin James Watt, supports schools across the nation by providing funding for athletic equipment and student resources.
