SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good evening and happy Friday! Storms impacted areas in the northern half of the region today, causing them to be cooler as compared to everyone else through this afternoon. If you’re heading out to any high school football games this evening, you are in luck because conditions should remain dry until the early morning hours of Saturday.
A line of storms will approach the ArkLaTex as the night progresses, yet it will be slowly weakening. By the time it reaches our East Texas counties within the region by around 3-4am, heavy rainfall will be the primary threat. Precipitation will be more likely for areas south of I-20 through the morning hours.
