Highway 27 rollover leaves driver with minor injuries

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Emergency crews responded to a crash earlier this afternoon involving two vehicles on Highway 27 and University Avenue.

One vehicle ended up on its side after the collision. Cedar Falls Fire Chief said the two vehicles collided, causing the rollover. Crews arrived shortly after and found the driver trapped in the flipped vehicle.

Rescue teams safely extricated the driver and provided medical treatment. The driver sustained only minor injuries.

The southbound stretch of Highway 27/58 experienced brief traffic delays as the situation was managed.
