BYRON, Minn.- Next Level, a new sports and athletics facility, hopes to open in Byron by the summer of 2026.
The new facility is expected to have indoor basketball courts, shooting cages, an indoor playground and a number of rooms that could be checked out by athletics programs and other sports.
Nate Schroeder, the owner of Next Level says he was inspired to create the facility due to the lack of indoor options for sports in the area during the wintertime.
"It is kind of a family joint project where we've been trying to figure out how we're going to run programs, how we're going to structure things ," Schroeder said.
He and his siblings who coach local basketball teams will be running the business together.
He says in total the project is expected to cost $5 million with a $2 million
