LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles County Museum of Art 's docent-led tour series called "Visible and Vibrant" celebrates LGBTQ+ artists, including Frida Kahlo, whose bold art challenged ideas of identity, beauty and belonging.
"October is LGBTQ+ history month and to celebrate, the One Institute puts on the Circa Queer History Festival every year for the month of October," said Rasheed Newson, One Institute Board Chair.
LACMA's tour is part of One Institute's Circa, a countywide histories festival of performances, lectures, and art under this year's theme, Reclaiming Freedom.
