KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A woman died Friday after being seriously injured in a Kernersville crash last week , police said.

Linda Bowman Roberson succumbed to her injuries Friday at Baptist Hospital. The crash happened on Oct. 16, at about 3:49 p.m. at the intersection of Hopkins Road and Bluff School Road, police said.

Kernersville Police Department officers responding to the scene found that one driver had sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. The intersection was closed for approximately one hour while emergency crews responded and investigated. The roadway has since reopened.

The incident remains under investigation by the Kernersville Police Department’s Traffic Enforcement and Reconstruction Unit. Anyone with information is asked to call 336-996-3177.
