GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A suspect charged with murder in connection with a shootout in June asked for bond at a hearing on Friday.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said 30-year-old Matthew Donavon Deese assaulted 38-year-old Michael Jared Wilson with a metal bat, left the residence and then returned before a shootout began on June 27. Bryan Daniel Noone, 40, died at the scene from a gunshot wound.
Deese was charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and unlawful neglect of a child. Wilson was charged with assault and battery.
