Andy Garcia will forever be a fan of Diane Keaton .
Almost three weeks after the Oscar winner died following a battle with pneumonia at the age of 79, her Godfather III and Book Club costar reflected on what a special individual she was.
“She's a unicorn,” Andy shared with E! News correspondent Erin Lim Rhodes at the 5th annual Celebration of Latino Cinema & Television in Los Angeles Oct. 24. “She's a unique, unique spirit. It's undefinable. She was an American original.”
And the 69-year-old was honored that he got to “work opposite her many times”— most recently on 2023’s Book Club: The Next Chapter —adding, “That was a great blessing.”
