LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three high school football games will play at different schools this Friday.

In a letter sent to families, a Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) spokesperson said they are awaiting the final engineering reports about the railing investigation at Waggener High School.

A railing collapsed at the high school on Oct. 16, and six St. Xavier (St. X) students were injured.

Because of this, JCPS said they moved three games out of an abundance of caution.

"This move is necessary until we have the final engineering report and until a structural engineer can thoroughly inspect all of our other newly installed bleachers across the District," the spokesperson said in the letter.
