WEST PLAINS, Mo. (KY3) -Up to 200 new tech jobs are coming to West Plains.
Provalus, an Atlanta-based IT solutions firm, is making West Plains its next location.
The company says it gives customized solutions for cybersecurity, network operations, and quality assurance.
City leaders say they recently worked with the state to secure $2.5 million in state funding for Provalus to renovate the building that once housed West Plains Grocery.
“You want a community where you can raise your family, your kids can get a good education, and then find a good job,” said West Plains Mayor Mike Topliff. “This is an opportunity where now, our kids can get a technological job.”
The company is also working with city leaders in Harrison, Ark., to set up a location there.
