IVINS, Utah (ABC4) — As many gather at the Black Desert resort for the annual Bank of Utah PGA Tournament, ABC4's Bayan Wang spoke with the caddies about the essential services they provide.

Over 130 caddies have come across the globe to participate in the Bank of Utah Championship, a job that is easier said than done.

Dev Das, who is caddying for Matt McCarty said, "I think, historically, caddies have been kind of looked down upon as, like a second-class citizen."

"We're going and learning a new golf course, so I'm walking the course at least twice without my layer by myself," said JJ Jackovac, another caddy, "It's seven to nine or ten miles a day with a 40-pound bag up and down hills. I'm used to it. I've been doing it a long time, but it definitely takes a toll on the body."
