OMAHA, Neb. —
The no-kill animal shelter in Blair has been up and running since the 1970s, but those who run the shelter say there are people in town who don't know they exist.
"We're trying to use social media just to get all of our animals exposure," said Chelsea Beifus, a board member for the Jeanette Hunt Blair Animal Shelter.

Bronx, a German shepherd, has been at the shelter since July.
"Bronx knows when I come in every day, that he's going to get to go on a walk, have fun," Beifus said.
Bronx is one of 12 dogs and 35 cats up for adoption.
"We run out of space quick, we are a no-kill shelter," Beifus said.
The cost to care for the animals stacks up quickly.
